Several players were recognized at the London Football Awards on Thursday evening, with Chelsea Football Club making a strong impact.
Cole Palmer stood out for the Blues, winning both Premier League Player of the Year and Goal of the Season. His stunning free-kick against Brighton earned him the latter honor.
Chelsea Women also made their mark at the ceremony, taking home several awards. Guro Reiten was named WSL Player of the Year, while Sonia Bompastor was awarded Manager of the Year. Bompastor was the only female nominee in the Manager of the Year category.
In addition, Aggie Beever-Jones secured the Women’s Young Player of the Year award for the second year in a row, further cementing Chelsea’s success at the event.
