Maddy Siegrist has claimed the 2025 Athletes Unlimited (AU) Pro Basketball Championship, finishing the season as the league’s top performer.
In just her second AU season, the 6-foot-2 forward made a remarkable leap from her 12th-place finish in 2024. Siegrist dominated throughout the four-week competition in Nashville, accumulating 7,052 leaderboard points—457 points ahead of runner-up Odyssey Sims. She sealed her victory with a commanding 1,556-point boost in the final week.
For three consecutive weeks, Siegrist led as a team captain, battling closely with Sims for the top spot. However, in the final stretch, she pulled away to secure the championship.
“Every time I step on the court, it’s a great opportunity. I just try to be the best basketball player I can be,” Siegrist said. “It’s about all the moments people don’t see—lifting weights when you’re sore, shooting on days when you don’t feel like it. That’s what being a pro is all about.”
Siegrist was a dominant force, averaging 24 points per game. She recorded double-digit scoring in 12 games and surpassed 20 points in nine of her 12 appearances. Her outstanding performance not only earned her the AU title but also broke the previous record held by 2024 champion Allisha Gray, who finished with 6,981 points.
Silver Medalist: Odyssey Sims
Odyssey Sims finished second for the second straight season with 6,595 points. She led teams as a captain for the final two weeks, including a gold-captaincy in Week Three. The AU veteran ended the season with a 7-5 record, 10 Game MVP awards, and a league-leading 26-point scoring average.
Sims also set a new AU Pro Basketball career record with 1,620 total Game MVP points, surpassing Kelsey Mitchell’s previous mark of 1,470 from 2022-24. She had three games with over 30 points and scored in double digits in every appearance, with a season-high 41 points in Week Two against Team Siegrist.
Bronze Medalist: Crystal Bradford
Crystal Bradford secured third place with an explosive Champions Week performance. She set an AU single-game record with 10 three-pointers and posted a career-high 38 points in Week Four against Team Sims.
Bradford continued to impress, finishing the season with 5,304 leaderboard points, eight wins, and six MVP honors. She was a captain for two weeks and recorded ten double-digit scoring performances, setting a new AU record with her 16th career double-double.
Fourth-Place Finish: Maya Caldwell
In her AU debut, Maya Caldwell made a significant impact, securing fourth place. The 29-year-old guard contributed consistently, averaging 15.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. She recorded 10 double-digit scoring performances, including a season-high 27 points in her final game against Team Harris.
Caldwell finished the season shooting 47.4% from the field and earned six Game MVP awards.

Shey Peddy earned Defensive Player of the Year honors in her AU debut. The five-year WNBA veteran recorded 20 steals and 29 defensive rebounds in 12 games. She finished 12th overall with 3,741 points and had a season-high four steals in Week Three against Team Sims. Peddy also contributed offensively, averaging 8.3 points per game.
Newcomer of the Year: Tyasha Harris
Tyasha Harris had an impressive first AU season, finishing fifth on the leaderboard. The 5-foot-10 guard scored in double figures in 10 of her 11 appearances. Despite missing the final game due to injury, she emerged as one of the league’s best three-point shooters, matching Bradford’s 27 triples.
Harris averaged 15.5 points per game with a 44.3% shooting rate. She also earned her first MVP 1 award after scoring 17 points against Team Sims in Week Four.
