The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced that Virginia Wesleyan University will be the top overall seed in the 2025 ECAC Division III Men’s Basketball Championship. The first round of the tournament will be hosted by McDaniel College and New Jersey City University (NJCU), with games beginning on Saturday, March 8.
Virginia Wesleyan, the No. 1 seed, will face No. 8 Franciscan University. In another matchup, No. 4 Pitt Greensburg will take on No. 5 McDaniel College. Both of these games will be held at McDaniel.
Meanwhile, No. 2 Salisbury University is set to battle No. 7 Maine Presque Isle, while No. 3 NJCU will square off against No. 6 Alvernia University. These games will be hosted by NJCU.
The championship game will take place on the campus of one of the two teams that advance from the first weekend of competition.
