The UTSA men’s tennis team (4-7) returns to San Antonio for a Friday morning match against Incarnate Word (6-3). The Roadrunners and Cardinals will face off at 11 a.m. at the Mabry Tennis Center.

Roadrunners Looking to Rebound
UTSA is coming off a competitive weekend at the Diablos College Invitational in Tempe, Arizona, where they finished with a 1-2 record. The Roadrunners secured a win over No. 65 Liberty but fell to Boise State and Liberty in other matches.
Key performers include senior Danijal Muminovic (5-3) and newcomer Oskar Grzegorzewski (5-2), who have been strong on the second and third singles courts. Tiago Torres, ranked No. 100 in singles, holds a 4-2 record in the top spot. In doubles, Torres and Miguel Alonso, ranked No. 63, have won both of their matches together.
Scouting Incarnate Word
Under eighth-year head coach Jonas Andersson, the Cardinals have a 6-3 record this season. All six of their wins have come against teams from the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
UTSA has historically dominated the series, holding a 10-2 all-time record against UIW. The Roadrunners have won the last five matchups, including a 6-1 victory on Senior Day last year.

After Friday’s match, UTSA will head to the Dallas area for a showdown against SMU on Wednesday, March 12. The match is set for an 11 a.m. start at the Mustangs’ Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex.
