The North Florida women’s tennis team is set for a busy week, with three consecutive matches on the schedule. The Ospreys will host Presbyterian and Queens before traveling to face Eastern Kentucky.
The action begins Tuesday morning when UNF takes on Presbyterian at 10 a.m. in a home doubleheader alongside the men’s team. The Ospreys will then return to ASUN Conference play on Wednesday, hosting Queens at 11 a.m. at the UNF Tennis Complex as part of another doubleheader with the men’s squad.
To close out the week, UNF will travel to Richmond, Kentucky, to face Eastern Kentucky on the road. That match is set for 10 a.m. on Saturday, with the UNF men’s team also taking on the Colonels the same day.
The Ospreys have won four of their last six matches, bouncing back from an 0-3 start to the spring season. Last week, they dominated their ASUN opener with a 7-0 sweep against Bellarmine, winning five of six singles matches in straight sets.
North Florida, a 10-time ASUN Tournament champion and seven-time regular-season winner, was predicted to finish second in the 2025 ASUN Preseason Poll. The team is in its sixth season under head coach Catherine Dunagan, a two-time ASUN Coach of the Year. Under her leadership, the Ospreys have won three regular-season titles, two tournament championships, and secured an NCAA Tournament victory.
After this week’s matches, UNF will return home for two more doubleheaders, hosting Rider and Austin Peay from March 21-23 at the UNF Tennis Complex.
