Loyola Marymount University (LMU) beach volleyball duo Isabelle Reffel and Magdalena Rabitsch have been named the West Coast Conference (WCC) Pair of the Week for the third consecutive time to start the 2025 season. Their dominant performance helped second-ranked LMU improve to 13-1 after three more victories over the weekend.
Reffel and Rabitsch played together in all three duals and did not drop a single set, holding opponents to no more than 17 points in any game. They contributed to LMU’s sweeps over Vanguard (21-16, 21-12) and Mercer (21-17, 21-15) while playing on court three.
Their biggest win came in a top-10 showdown against No. 8 Long Beach State. With LMU trailing 1-0 in the dual, Reffel and Rabitsch, competing as the No. 4 pair, secured the Lions’ first point with a 21-17, 21-13 victory.
