UNA Lions Look to Stay Perfect at Home Against Alabama A&M

The Lions aim to extend their strong home record, currently standing at 4-0, while securing their third consecutive win and fourth victory over an in-state opponent this season.

North Alabama (8-3) is coming off a 4-2 victory over Jacksonville State on March 10. The Bulldogs (2-7) enter the match on a two-game winning streak, following 4-0 sweeps over Mississippi Valley State and Southern University. Coached by Willis Mbandi, now in his 11th season, Alabama A&M looks to earn its third straight win.

Wednesday’s matchup marks the 33rd meeting between the two programs. North Alabama holds a dominant 31-1 lead in the all-time series, winning the last three matchups. Alabama A&M’s only victory came on March 19, 2019.
