The Chattanooga Mocs men’s tennis team opened its spring break with a commanding 7-0 victory over Midland University in a neutral-site non-conference match on Wednesday in Hilton Head, S.C.
Chattanooga (9-7) overwhelmed NAIA-member Midland (2-3) in their first-ever meeting, securing a clean sweep in both singles and doubles. This match marked the Mocs’ final non-conference contest of the season before they shift focus to Southern Conference (SoCon) play, beginning Sunday against The Citadel in Charleston, S.C.
Looking Ahead
Following Sunday’s SoCon opener, Chattanooga will remain on the road for a matchup at Samford on Friday, March 21. The Mocs will then return home for four consecutive league matches, starting with Mercer on Sunday, March 23, at the UTC Tennis Center. Match details and updates will be available on GoMocs.com.
