Louisiana Tech football has announced a change to its 2025 schedule, moving its home game against Sam Houston to Friday, October 31. The matchup at Joe Aillet Stadium will also serve as the Bulldogs’ Homecoming game.
The game was originally planned for Tuesday, October 28, but has been rescheduled as part of Homecoming Weekend celebrations. Kickoff time will be announced later, based on television scheduling.
Director of Athletics Ryan Ivey shared his excitement about the update.
“We are excited to be able to announce this unique opportunity for our homecoming,” Ivey said. “I’d like to thank the Conference USA office, Sam Houston and our TV partners for working to create this opportunity. Having a chance to host a Halloween homecoming game inside Joe Aillet Stadium will be an incredible opportunity to create an experience we won’t soon forget. Looking forward to seeing all of our Dogs that weekend!”
The 2025 season will see Louisiana Tech play six home games. The Bulldogs will host four Conference USA opponents: New Mexico State, WKU, Sam Houston, and Liberty. In non-conference action, they’ll face Southeastern Louisiana and Southern Miss.
The 2025 campaign follows a milestone 2024 season in which the Bulldogs returned to bowl play for the first time since 2019.
