Old Dominion and Marshall each earned victories on Saturday to move into the final of the 2025 Sun Belt Conference Women’s Tennis Championship at the Rome Tennis Center.
Top-seeded Old Dominion, ranked No. 46 nationally, dominated its semifinal match. The Monarchs led on every court and did not drop a single set, winning 4-0 to secure their spot in the final.
Marshall, ranked No. 72 nationally and seeded sixth, also impressed. After winning the doubles point, the Thundering Herd carried that momentum into singles play to earn a 4-1 victory. This marks Marshall’s first appearance in the Sun Belt Women’s Tennis Championship Match.
Old Dominion and Marshall will meet for the title at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday. The match will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
