The Quinnipiac men’s tennis team will take on Clemson in the first round of the NCAA Tournament this weekend at Columbia University.
The Bobcats earned their spot after winning their second straight MAAC Tournament title, beating Rider in the championship match. This marks the sixth conference championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in program history. Quinnipiac previously won the NEC titles in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2010.
Last year, Quinnipiac faced No. 8 Columbia in the NCAA Tournament, falling 4-0.

Clemson enters the NCAA Tournament with a 21-8 overall record and an 8-5 mark in ACC play, finishing eighth in the conference standings.
