World No. 1 Jannik Sinner on Monday announced the launch of the Jannik Sinner Foundation, a new organization dedicated to empowering children through education and sports.
“Today is a very, very special day,” Sinner said in a video announcing the news. “I’m happy to share that we are launching the Jannik Sinner Foundation. The idea behind it is very simple: I want to give back. Kids are our future, and everything we do in the foundation is rooted to help them.”
The foundation will focus on two main areas: sports development and childhood education. According to its official website, Sinner hopes to use his experience and the support he received during his tennis journey to inspire and guide the next generation.
“It has always been something I looked up to — trying to help, especially kids — because for me kids are our future,” Sinner said. “Hopefully I can give them some small ways and paths where they can feel comfortable and achieve their dreams.”
The foundation will be led by an experienced Board of Directors, including Sinner’s manager Alex Vittur (serving as Foundation President), Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali, and former Apple CFO Luca Maestri. Christina Tauber will act as Director and oversee daily operations.
In a press release, Sinner emphasized the personal importance of the project: “For me, it’s an honour to support children and young athletes. Sports have taught me invaluable lessons — discipline, resilience, and the courage to stay true to myself. Lessons that I believe are worth sharing. Through our work, we want to show kids what’s possible, not just in sports but in life.”
