Xavier head women’s basketball coach Billi Chambers has announced the addition of Mariyah Noel to the 2025-26 roster.
The 5-foot-11 guard transfers from Ole Miss, where she spent two seasons with the Rebels.
“Mariyah is a tremendous addition to our team,” Chambers said. “She is a relentless competitor, elite defender, and fits perfectly into the up-tempo style we are striving for. Her impact on our program will be immediate. Xavier Nation is going to love her!”
During her time at Ole Miss, Noel played in 36 games. She helped the Rebels to a 46-20 overall record, including a 22-10 mark in SEC play. Ole Miss reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2023-24 and made it to the Sweet 16 in 2024-25.
The Kansas City, Kansas native scored 66 points and grabbed 40 rebounds during her time at Ole Miss. She also recorded 18 assists, 12 blocks, and five steals.
Noel brings experience, defensive strength, and energy to the Musketeers as they prepare for the upcoming season.
