Rugby League fans are set for an unforgettable experience as Las Vegas gears up to host six of the sport’s most passionate fanbases for the 2026 season opener. The NRL has confirmed the participation of four Australian powerhouses—Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, St George Illawarra Dragons, Newcastle Knights, and North Queensland Cowboys—alongside Hull KR and Leeds Rhinos from England’s Super League.
The blockbuster event will take place at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, February 28, 2026 (Sunday, March 1 in Australia). Fans will witness three thrilling matches: Bulldogs vs Dragons, Knights vs Cowboys, and a Super League clash between Hull KR and Leeds.
To reward fans eager to be part of this historic event, the NRL has launched its most competitive travel packages to date. Four charter flights will depart directly for Las Vegas, each themed for a participating NRL club, creating a unique travel experience for supporters.
Return flights from Sydney start at $2,800, while Newcastle and Townsville fans can secure packages from $2,990. These offers aim to make the trip more accessible for fans planning an iconic sporting getaway.
“Las Vegas has become a bucket list destination for NRL and Super League fans, as well as for lovers of world-class sport and entertainment,” said NRL CEO Andrew Abdo. “We’ve worked hard with our partners to create affordable travel packages that allow fans to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience with their family and friends.”
Abdo also praised the collaboration with clubs, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Allegiant Stadium, and broadcast partners in bringing this event to life. “This is not just a season opener; it’s a unique spectacle that launches the NRL season with unmatched style.”
Broadcast details and kick-off times will be announced once finalized.
