The Miami University RedHawks women’s tennis team concluded a remarkable 2024–25 campaign by clinching their 24th Mid-American Conference (MAC) Regular Season Championship, the most in conference history. Behind dominant performances and strong leadership, the RedHawks solidified their legacy as a powerhouse program and earned numerous individual accolades along the way.
Season Highlights:
- MAC Regular Season Champions – Miami finished with a stellar 9-1 conference record to secure its 24th title.
- Catherine Denysiewicz-Slowek crowned the MAC Fall Individual Singles Champion, completing an undefeated run in MAC singles play during the spring season.
- Emilia Valentinsson and Sara Zalukar teamed up to win the MAC Fall Individual Doubles Championship.
- Denysiewicz-Slowek was named MAC Player of the Year and earned First Team All-MAC honors alongside doubles partner Sara Zalukar.
- Head Coach Ricardo Rosas was recognized as MAC Coach of the Year after leading the RedHawks through a dominant regular season.
- Sarah Dev received national recognition with the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award, highlighting her excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
- The team also celebrated the contributions of five graduating seniors on Senior Day, honoring their dedication and leadership.
