The European League of Football (ELF) wrapped up an action-packed Week 1 on Sunday, featuring five exciting matchups across the continent. Fans saw dominant wins, standout quarterback play, and explosive offense as the 2025 season got underway.
Nordic Storm 56, Helvetic Mercenaries 12
Jadrian Clark led the Nordic Storm to a commanding 56-12 victory over the Helvetic Mercenaries. Clark completed 20 of 30 passes (67%) for 258 yards and five touchdowns in a dominant offensive display.
Berlin Thunder 63, Cologne Centurions 14
Berlin quarterback Jakeb Sullivan delivered a near-perfect performance, completing 22 of 24 passes (92%) for 413 yards and seven touchdowns. He also rushed for 25 yards, helping the Thunder crush the Cologne Centurions 63-14.
Munich Ravens 20, Raiders Tirol 7
The Munich Ravens earned a hard-fought 20-7 win over Raiders Tirol. Quarterback Russell Tabor threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns but also had two interceptions. He added 29 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown to secure the victory.
Vienna Vikings 28, Prague Lions 6
Vienna’s Ben Holmes threw for 246 yards and two touchdowns on 19 of 33 passing (58%) as the Vikings topped the Prague Lions 28-6. Running back Karri Pajarinen added 70 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.
Stuttgart Surge 33, Frankfurt Galaxy 20
Stuttgart quarterback Reilly Hennessey led the Surge to a 33-20 win over the Frankfurt Galaxy. Hennessey threw for 197 yards and a touchdown, and ran for two more scores. Frankfurt’s Matthew McKay threw for 177 yards and one touchdown but also had an interception.
