Oklahoma State women’s tennis is adding a major talent to its 2025 roster, as head coach Chris Young announced Tuesday the signing of Big 12 Player of the Year Oliva Lincer.
Lincer, a junior transfer from UCF, posted a dominant 15-2 singles record and held a national doubles ranking as high as No. 19 last season. She primarily competed at the top of the lineup and earned First Team All-Big 12 honors in both singles and doubles, following up her Freshman of the Year accolade from the previous season.
“Oliva brings elite-level experience and talent to our program,” said Young. “She’s a proven competitor in one of the toughest conferences, and we’re excited about the impact she can make in Stillwater.”
The Warsaw, Poland native arrived at the collegiate level as the No. 5 recruit in the country after reaching the Sweet 16 at the 2022 Wimbledon Juniors. She was ranked No. 1 among Polish juniors and No. 8 nationally among all women in Poland, collecting four ITF singles titles and two doubles crowns before college.
Her move to Oklahoma State comes after the Cowgirls concluded their 2024–25 season with an Elite Eight finish in the NCAA Tournament, falling 0–4 in the quarterfinals. With several seniors graduating, Lincer becomes the first addition of the offseason, with more signings expected in the coming weeks.
Coach Young continues to build a nationally competitive roster with the aim of returning to the Final Four and contending for the program’s first NCAA title.
