Three student-athletes — senior Sean Joseph, junior Albert Hansen, and sophomore Nikita Bortnichek — have been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team for men’s tennis.
The prestigious recognition honors top student-athletes across the country for excellence both on the tennis court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-District® program highlights athletes who have achieved strong academic performance while also playing key roles on their teams.
To be eligible for nomination, student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale. They must also be at least a sophomore, either academically or athletically, and be a starter or key reserve player. Each school is allowed to nominate up to four athletes in tennis.
The CSC also oversees the Academic All-America® program, which will honor tennis players later this year across four divisions: NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, for both men and women.
Joseph, Hansen, and Bortnichek’s inclusion reflects not only their athletic skills but also their strong commitment to academic success.
