Iran has learned its group stage opponents for the 2025 Asian Men’s U16 Volleyball Championship, which will take place in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, from July 12 to 19.
Iran has been placed in Pool B, where they will face Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, and a representative from Southeast Asia’s qualification zone.
The tournament features 16 teams divided into four pools:
- Pool A: Thailand (hosts), Australia, China, and India
- Pool B: Iran, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia representative
- Pool C: Uzbekistan, Japan, Mongolia, Western Asia representative
- Pool D: Chinese Taipei, Pakistan, South Korea, Western Asia representative
The championship is a key qualification event for the FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U17 World Championship. The top four teams from this competition will earn a place in the global tournament.
