Denison Captures First-Ever NCAA DIII Men’s Tennis Championship

Denison University made history by winning its first NCAA Division III men’s tennis team championship, defeating Case Western Reserve University 4-2 in the national final. The Big Red clinched the title by securing wins on courts one and four at the same time.

The championship match took place on May 22 and marked a milestone achievement for the Denison men’s tennis program, which had never before claimed a national title.

With the team competition concluded, attention now turns to the individual events. Beginning May 23, 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams will compete in the opening rounds of the NCAA Division III Singles and Doubles Championships. The finals for both events are scheduled for May 26.
