Arafan Diane, one of the top high school basketball prospects in the Class of 2026, has picked up an offer from Indiana University, adding to his already impressive list of college suitors.
Diane, a 7-foot, 260-pound center, plays for Iowa United Prep in Des Moines. Originally from Guinea, West Africa, he transferred to Iowa after previously playing in Canada for Institut de Sport Dynastie in Quebec.
Ranked in the Top 25 nationally by 247Sports, Diane has quickly gained attention from top programs across the country.
During the Adidas 3SSB Circuit this spring and summer, he averaged 16.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game. His strong play on the circuit has already earned him offers from major programs, including defending national champion Florida, national runner-up Houston, Louisville, Creighton, Iowa, West Virginia, and Illinois.
Diane also impressed on the international stage at the FIBA U17 World Cup, where he represented Team Guinea. There, he averaged 19 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, and nearly 3 blocks per game, showcasing his all-around talent.
With his combination of size, athleticism, and skill, Diane is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after big men in the 2026 class.
