USA Basketball has officially announced the 12 players who will represent the United States at the 2025 FIBA U16 Men’s AmeriCup. The team was selected after a five-day training camp held in Colorado Springs.
The final roster was chosen from a group of 18 finalists by the USA Basketball Men’s Developmental National Team Committee. All selected athletes are part of the high school graduating classes of 2027 and 2028 and were born on or after January 1, 2009. To be eligible, players must also be U.S. citizens.
The 12 players named to the team are:

- Mason Collins
- Erick Dampier Jr.
- Colton Hiller
- Bentley Lusakueno
- Kameron Mercer
- Jordan Page
- CJ Rosser
- Shalen Sheppard
- Marcus Spears Jr.
- AJ Williams
Each player will be making their first appearance in international competition for USA Basketball.
The team will be coached by Scott Fitch from Fairport High School in New York. He will be supported by assistant coaches Frank Bennett from Chaminade College Prep in Missouri and Nick LoGalbo from Lane Technical College Prep in Illinois.
The 2025 FIBA U16 Men’s AmeriCup will take place from June 2–8 in Juárez, Mexico. Eight teams from the FIBA Americas region will compete, with the top four advancing to the 2026 FIBA U17 Men’s World Cup in Turkey.
Team USA is placed in Group A alongside Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Argentina. The United States will play its first game against Mexico at 10 p.m. ET on June 2. They will then face the Dominican Republic on June 3 and Argentina on June 4, with both games scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
