Oregon men’s tennis head coach Nils Schyllander announced on Thursday the addition of Declan Galligan to the team.
Galligan, a native of West Des Moines, Iowa, spent the 2024–25 season redshirting at Ohio State before transferring to Oregon. He brings with him an impressive junior career.
Galligan was ranked among the top five players nationally in the USTA Junior Rankings and held the No. 1 spot in doubles. He is a two-time boys’ 18s Level 2 champion and also reached the finals in both the boys’ 16s and 18s doubles at the prestigious Easter Bowl tournament.
His arrival is expected to strengthen the Ducks’ roster with high-level experience and strong doubles play.
