Mountain West Football to Air on CBS and FOX Networks in Packed 2025 Broadcast Schedule

The Mountain West Conference has released its national television schedule for the 2025 football season, featuring 53 games across major networks. The lineup includes broadcasts on CBS, CBS Sports Network (CBSSN), and the FOX Sports family of networks.

CBS will televise three games this season, CBSSN will carry 28 matchups, and FOX Sports will air 22 contests. The schedule includes at least three nationally televised games in 12 of the 14 regular-season weeks, with Weeks 7, 13, and 14 each featuring five national broadcasts.

Key Broadcast Highlights

The Mountain West TV slate kicks off in Week 0 on Saturday, August 23, when Hawai‘i hosts Stanford at 1:30 p.m. HT on CBS.
CBS returns in Week 10 with Air Force vs. Army on Saturday, November 1, at 10 a.m. MT.
The final CBS broadcast will feature Boise State at Utah State on Friday, November 28, at 2 p.m. MT.
All CBS games will also stream on Paramount+.

FOX Sports begins its coverage on Friday, August 29, when San José State hosts Central Michigan at 7:30 p.m. PT on FS1.

  • Week 1 (Aug. 30): Air Force hosts Bucknell and Utah State hosts UTEP on CBSSN, while Fresno State faces Georgia Southern on FS1.
  • Week 2:
    • Sept. 5 (Friday): Boise State hosts Eastern Washington at 7 p.m. MT on FS1.
    • Sept. 6 (Saturday): UNLV hosts UCLA at 5 p.m. PT on CBSSN.

Conference Opener

The Mountain West opener takes place in Week 3 on Saturday, September 13, when Air Force visits Utah State at 7:45 p.m. MT on FS1. That same day, Wyoming hosts Utah at 6 p.m. MT on CBSSN.

  • Week 4 (Sept. 20): CBSSN doubleheader: Boise State at Air Force (5 p.m. MT) and Cal at San Diego State (7:30 p.m. PT).

The final two weeks of the regular season each feature five national broadcasts.

    • Saturday: Multiple games on CBSSN and FOX Sports.

Week 14 (Nov. 28–29):

The 2025 Mountain West Football Championship Game will take place on Friday, December 5, on FOX. The kickoff time will be announced later.
