The Georgia Bulldogs are on the verge of landing another key recruit in the 2026 class, as four-star wide receiver Craig Dandridge appears to be trending toward a commitment to the program.

On3’s Chad Simmons reported on Tuesday that Georgia is in an excellent position to land Dandridge, a playmaker out of Milton, Georgia’s Cambridge High School. While Dandridge plans to visit other schools, including Georgia Tech this weekend, his recent visit to Athens has the Bulldogs firmly in the lead.

“We’ve liked Georgia’s position for Craig Dandridge for most of the spring, but coming out of the visit, we like it a little more,” Simmons wrote. “His time with James Coley was big, and he felt like a priority in Athens.”

Dandridge had originally planned to visit Clemson last weekend but opted to spend his time in Georgia, where he had a strong visit. The wide receiver shared with 247Sports’ Benjamin Wolk that he could see himself “thriving” in the Bulldogs’ system.

Dandridge, who is ranked as the No. 48 wide receiver and No. 38 prospect in Georgia for the 2026 class, has narrowed his decision down to a final six, including Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Stanford, Florida, and Oklahoma.

Georgia’s current top wide receiver commit in the 2026 class is four-star Vance Spafford, ranked No. 124 overall, followed by commitments from Brady Marchese and Ryan Mosley. The addition of Dandridge would further strengthen Georgia’s already impressive 2026 recruiting class.
