The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has released its final NCAA Division I men’s tennis regional rankings for the 2025 season, with East Tennessee State University (ETSU) earning the No. 8 spot in the Ohio Valley Region. This marks the second consecutive year the Buccaneers have finished the season with a regional ranking.
ETSU wrapped up the year with a 13-7 overall record, including a strong 6-1 performance in Southern Conference (SoCon) play. That record earned the Bucs a share of the SoCon Regular Season Championship.
After a slow start to the spring with a 1-4 record, the Blue and Gold bounced back impressively, going 12-3 through the rest of the season.
Five ETSU players received postseason honors for their individual performances:
- Peter Kalocsai: First Team All-SoCon Singles, Second Team Doubles
- Martin Garcia-Ripoll: Second Team Singles and Doubles
- Pedro Cressoni: Second Team Singles
- Juan Andres Listo: SoCon All-Freshman Team
- Carlos Gonzales: SoCon All-Freshman Team
The consistent regional recognition and individual accolades highlight a strong 2025 campaign for ETSU men’s tennis and signal continued growth for the program.
