The Netherlands defeated Canada in four sets — 25-18, 22-25, 25-15, 25-23 — in Women’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL) action on Thursday. The match was held at TD Place in Ottawa.
After winning the opening set, the Dutch team dropped a close second set to the home side. However, they bounced back strongly in the third and closed out the match with a tight win in the fourth.
The victory adds to the Netherlands’ momentum in the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Nations League, while Canada continues to look for consistency in front of their home crowd.
