Football NSW is proud to congratulate Emily Husband on her appointment as the Assistant Coach for the Matildas.
Emily has a strong connection to the local football community, having been involved in the National Premier Leagues Women’s NSW competition with Sydney University Football Club. She was also a recipient of the Legacy Scholarship, and it’s exciting to see her now advancing her coaching career at the international level.
This achievement comes after a highly successful season in the A-League Women’s, where Emily’s work contributed to the Central Coast Mariners winning the 2025 Championship.
Football NSW also reminds players and coaches that Legacy Scholarship opportunities are available for those looking to further their football careers.
