The FIBA Regional Office-Asia announced the pairings and schedule for the Basketball Champions League Asia (BCL Asia) 2025 Quarter-Finals on Monday, June 9. The draw took place shortly after the final game of the Group Phase, where defending champions Al Riyadi faced the Taoyuan Pauian Pilots at the Sheikh Saeed Bin Maktoum Sports Hall.
Teams were ranked based on the FIBA Official Basketball Rules – Chapter D – Classification of Teams, and these rankings determined the draw. The qualified teams were split into four pots. Pot D contained the top two teams, while Pot E had the third and fourth teams. Pot F consisted of the fifth and sixth teams, and Pot G held the seventh and eighth teams.
Teams from Pot D will play against teams from Pot G, while Pot E teams will face teams from Pot F. Importantly, teams that were in the same group during the Group Phase cannot be drawn against each other.
The Quarter-Finals are set for June 11, with all four games to be held at the Coca-Cola Arena. This venue will host the Final Phase of the tournament, marking the shift to a state-of-the-art location for the remaining games.
The Semi-Finals will take place on June 12, with the winners advancing to the one-game Final on June 13. The teams that fall short in the Semi-Finals will face off in the Third-Place Game on the same day.
The BCL Asia 2025 champion will earn the right to represent Asia in the prestigious FIBA Intercontinental Cup 2025 in Singapore.
