WTHR in Indianapolis, initially scheduled to air Fever games, will now be joined by 11 additional stations across Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, and Kentucky. This collaboration aims to provide fans with more access to witness Clark and her teammates in action during the upcoming WNBA season.

“This is a pivotal moment for our Fever team and women’s basketball, more broadly, and this groundbreaking partnership with TEGNA (a broadcast and digital media company) will ensure more fans than ever will be able to watch this historic season,” stated Pacers Sports and Entertainment chief executive officer Rick Fuson.

The expanded coverage will commence with Indiana’s season opener next Tuesday, followed by the broadcast of their game against the New York Liberty two days later.

TEGNA’s senior vice president of media operations, Brad Ramsey, expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to bring WNBA games, including those featuring Caitlin Clark, to a broader audience. “We could not be more excited to make these exciting WNBA games available to more fans, in more homes, across more markets, including Caitlin Clark’s home state of Iowa,” Ramsey noted.

Clark, 22, achieved significant milestones during her collegiate career at Iowa (2020-24), amassing 3,951 points and becoming the all-time leading scorer in NCAA history for both men’s and women’s basketball. She was also a two-time National Player of the Year.

The Indiana Fever, who finished 13-27 last season, are looking to build upon their performance this year and capture the attention of basketball enthusiasts across the broadcast regions with the expanded television coverage.
